BEYOND THE SCREENS: JDM CULTURE IN MOTION

For millions of car enthusiasts around the world, Japanese car culture lives on smartphone screens — late-night Daikoku PA clips, cinematic touge runs, and drifting reels. But watching from afar only tells half the story. The true soul of JDM is felt through the steering wheel, the throttle response, and the smell of tire smoke on tarmac.

International content creator Tina Kitsune recently teamed up with Wangun OG in Japan to take that connection to the next level: stepping away from passenger seats and diving straight into a dedicated closed-circuit drift lesson.

BEHIND THE WHEEL: THE TRACK EXPERIENCE

Tucked away on a dedicated circuit in Japan, free from traffic and speed limits, this session gave Tina Kitsune a direct look into authentic Japanese drifting fundamentals.

Strapped into a BRIDE racing bucket seat inside a purpose-built FR drift machine, the experience is all about immediate driver feedback: managing weight transfer under braking, initiating the slide, and balancing countersteer with throttle precision.

"Drifting in Japan isn't just about going fast — it's about balance, rhythm, and connecting directly with the machine."
