01 · The experience

What you'll learn

You will never forget this experience. Even with zero drifting experience, you will master steady circle driving by the end of the day, all while having fun.

Many advanced drifters join the session, so you can enjoy unlimited side-riding in thrilling chase runs.

Weight transfer and initiation. How weight shifts across the chassis under acceleration, braking and steering, and how to break the rear loose cleanly.

Donuts and circle drifting. Continuous circle drifting around a cone, balancing throttle with steering angle.

Figure-8 and transitions. Catching the car's inertia, counter-steering fast and flicking the chassis the other way.

Passenger chase runs. Ride with advanced drifters and feel tandem drifting from the inside.

02 · The day

How it goes.

This is a drift lesson with a professional instructor at Minami Chiba Circuit in Chiba Prefecture, next to Tokyo. Our drift car is a Toyota Altezza Track Edition. All necessary safety equipment, including helmets, is provided. Because this takes place on a closed circuit, no driving licence is required. You learn from skilled drifters with experience in both Japanese street drifting and circuit racing, ride in the passenger seat of advanced drivers, and once you master your drift a photographer captures your best moments.

  • Booking closes 1 day before. We rent the entire circuit, so advance booking is required.
  • Minimum age applies for driving; children can join as passengers (child rate).
  • Tour schedules and locations may change due to weather, traffic or other unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you of any changes as soon as possible.
  • Our guides' English proficiency varies. If you need a fluent English-speaking guide, let us know in advance and we will arrange one.
  • If you have any communication issues during the tour, our other guides are happy to assist.

Do I drive the car myself?

Yes. You drive under instructor supervision, and the programme matches your level.

Do I need a licence or an International Driving Permit?

No. The lesson takes place on a closed circuit, so no licence is required to drive.

Can beginners join?

Absolutely. Most guests have never drifted before. First-timers hold a steady circle by the end of the day.

What should I bring?

Sneakers, long sleeves, long trousers and a charged phone or camera. Helmets, masks and gloves are provided.

What is the cancellation policy?

Free cancellation up to 72 hours before the start, because we reserve the circuit. Within 72 hours of the start, or if you do not show up, the full amount is charged.
